MINI TASTING - MAVRODAFNI

Every week Kiki explores a variety and prepares a mini flight with the appropriate tasting guide, at a special price 5-8 pm daily!

Mavrodafni was named after a famous beauty from the city of Patra, the beautiful dark-haired Daphne. It is a variety cultivated mainly in the western Peloponnese and the Ionian Islands, giving wines with a characteristic bouquet of plum, black currant and botanical notes.

The dry versions of the variety will certainly be in the wine spotlight in the coming years, however “Mavrodafni Patron” has become a benchmark and a classic value for dessert wines.

This week we combine two versions of Mavrodafni Patras and Crostini with Gorgonzola with black raisin so you can get a first, sweet taste from the Peloponnese WINE Festival.
